CCSAR was paged out on 10/23 at 0615 to assist neighboring Saguache County to search for an overdue hunter in the La Garita Mountains. We sent 6 Ground Team members and an ATV Team member who drove over to assist. Saguache County SAR facilitated the mission as Incident Command with assisting agencies from Alamosa Volunteer SAR, Fremont County SAR, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Flight for Life (Lifeguard 5), Colorado Search and Rescue Association, and CCSAR. The outcome was positive and our members all returned safely to Westcliffe, CO by 1700.
