Custer County Search and Rescue was deployed Thursday January 22nd, at 12:35 pm, to recovery the body of a Wisconsin man in a steep wooded drainage above Adobe Creek Road in the Wetmore area.
Allan Hilgeman, 61, of Marathon WI, suffered an apparent cardiac arrest, earlier that morning, while hunting with his brother and local outfitters. Florence EMS and Custer County Deputies also responded to the scene.
CCSAR deployed both tracked vehicles, as well as members of the technical team to recover the body, which involved a low angle lower from the scene.
