Custer County Search and Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501c(3) corporation. All donations are fully tax-deductible as charitable contributions. We are staffed 100% by non-paid professionals that respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year so nearly all of your contribution goes directly to Search and Rescue operations.
The team depends upon contributions from individuals, groups, firms and agencies interested in supporting its work.
We incur significant expenses while responding to missions. This includes the wear and tear on team vehicles, rescue and communications equipment, facilities, and various medical, training and other supplies.
There is never a charge to a subject for our services or expenses. Most of our funding comes from grants and donations from people like you or your organization.
