The first response was for a party in possible need of assistance in the Peak/Needle area. No one was located who was in need of assistance.
The 2nd was for an overdue party of four on Crestone Peak, who were last seen still ascending at 3pm. That group had no provisions to be out overnight and no illumination. Fortunately they made it back to camp just before dark, presumably giving up their summit attempt.
Always carry a headlamp and extra batteries as part of your ten essentials!
